A graduate of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, Geoff taught in Bristol and Hong Kong before becoming organist and Master of the choristers at Bradfod Cathedral. Later he was appointed Director of studies at the Royal School of Music. He now acts in a freelance capacity for this and many other organisations , and undertakes numerous teaching and conducting engagements at home and abroad. As well as conducting the young voices, he is director of music with Kidderminster Choral Society and St. Michael's Chamber Choir in Wolverhampton.
Susannah Vango - Vocal Coach
Soprano soloist and pianist, private singing teacher and teacher with Walsall and Birmingham Music Services. A member of Ex Cathedra, the Midlands-based professional choir, she is also a tutor in the choir's
educational programme. She has also played football at County under-16 level and at Birmingham University, and has trained a boys' football squad.
Michael Elden - Accompanist to WFYV.
Mike, a native of Yorkshire, was a junior Exhibitioner at the Royal Northern College of music, going on to study at the Royal College of Music in London and then, after graduating, to teach training at Bretton Hall. Having taught for many years, he is now a freelance accompanist for choirs, instrumentalists, singers, theatre and dance, as well as organist for church services in Worcester and the West Midlands. He is the rehersal pianist and accompanist for Wyre Forset Young Voices and Kidderminster Choral Society.
'Last but not least', Chris (choir Co-ordinator) and Margaret (ongoing helper) they come every week to rehearsals and do many things which help the choir, a lot! They have been on the choirs tours to keep every one in order and help in any way they can. They do a great job looking after the choir!
